Calum Finch - Junior Partner
Degree of Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BChD) with Merit in Dental Surgery (Leeds 2015)
GDC No: 259066
Calum is originally from Clevedon, Bristol. He qualified at Leeds University in 2015 before moving back to the South West. After a year working in Axminster, Calum joined our practice in September 2016.
Calum enjoys all areas of general dentistry, treating both NHS and Private patients. Special interest include aesthetic work and smile improvements. A caring and gentle manner, along with a sense of humour, ensures all patients can receive the treatment they need in a way that suits them. This is particularly evident when dealing with nervous patients and children.
Calum has recently completed a course on implants. This, along with further coaching from Andy Armstrong, has given Calum the skills required to restore selected implant cases. With an already keen interest in aesthetic dentistry, Calum has recently completed training in tooth straightening, allowing him to provide Invisalign. Being able to offer tooth alignment options as a standalone treatment or as part of a greater smile improvement plan is particularly exciting.
Outside of work Calum is interested in sport and fitness. He goes to the gym regularly, partakes in racket sports, a keen skier and windsurfs at Exmouth beach, weather permitting! During university Calum played five-a-side football for his year in the dental league and also played for Leeds Dental Football Club in the 11-a-side intramural league.
Since being in Exeter Calum has formed a new five-a-side team which he captains. Other interests include playing and listening to music along with socialising and meeting new people.
