Porcelain Veneers
Veneers are perhaps the most renowned of dental cosmetic services. They are essentially a new facing for your teeth, allowing your smile to be whiter, straighter and wider.
Some veneers require a small amount of natural tooth to be removed in order to reduce the bulkiness of your new smile, but if your requirements are subtler, veneers can be crafted with no need to damage your natural teeth at all!
Veneers can be either porcelain or composite bonding in material – so either like a crown or a white filling.
The porcelain veneers are stronger over time but require more tooth to be removed to allow fit. The composite bonding veneers are kinder to teeth but may need repairing if they chip over time.
Composite bonded veneers are easier to repair than porcelain veneers which may need to be completely replaced if chipped.
Both types of veneer can be crafted to look like natural teeth, with the added bonus of a more beautiful smile.
