Why have dental veneers?

Veneers provide a quick and effective solution for achieving a radiant, flawless smile. Unlike teeth straightening or other treatments, which can take several months to see results, we only need a few appointments to complete your veneers.

We use modern materials to create thin and strong veneers that only require a very small amount of natural tooth enamel to be removed for a smooth and aesthetic result. In some cases, veneers can be crafted and fitted with no need to alter your natural tooth at all!

What does the treatment involve?

Initially, we see you for a consultation so we can make sure your teeth and gums are perfectly healthy and suitable for veneers. We take impressions in order to create models of your teeth, which are used to design your veneers and show you a preview of how they can transform the appearance of your smile.

Once you’re happy with the look that we’ve come up with together, we prepare your teeth if you need to have a layer of enamel removed. We fit you with temporary veneers to keep your teeth protected.

Your veneers are crafted at a dental laboratory using the models of your teeth. When they are ready, we see you again for your fitting. We make sure the look is exactly what you expected before we fix the veneers in place using strong dental adhesive.

Types of veneers

Porcelain veneers

Porcelain veneers are beautifully natural-looking, able to blend perfectly into your smile. They are stronger over time, but do require more of the tooth to be removed to allow for fitting.

Composite veneers

We can also use composite bonding to create a flawless custom veneer. Composite veneers are kinder to teeth, as they are built directly onto your natural tooth and require no removal of enamel. They are more prone to chipping or breaking, but are easy to repair.
